About this Project
This game was developed at the NYU Game Center as a Class of 2025 Thesis.
Sunset Chaser is a 2D top-down adventure game where you venture through Post-Apocalyptic USA, encountering wacky friends and foes. Drive and upgrade your makeshift car, and fight enemies on the road as you plan your route to your destination! This demo takes you from Texas to New Mexico.
So, strap in, cowboys and cowgirls, it’s going to be a hell of a ride!
Features
Fast-paced driving and explosive car combat! Fight a variety of enemies as you make your way across the USA.
Route planning mechanics give players meaningful choices: riskier routes yield better rewards.
A dynamic upgrade system for your makeshift car lets players customize both style and combat strategy.
A fun dialogue pop-up system that lets the wacky characters talk to the player and direct them
